Counseling Services

Counseling Services

Licensed mental health counseling for teens, young adults, and adults working through what’s underneath the performance: stress, identity, transition, relationships, or the weight that builds up in high-visibility and high operational tempo roles.

Who this is for

Teens, young adults, and adults navigating stress, transition, or identity. This includes families, and individuals in high-visibility or high operational tempo professions such as military service members, first responders, executives, and competitive athletes.

What to expect

The first session focuses on understanding what brought you in and whether working with Paul is the right fit. Session format and scheduling are confirmed during your initial consultation.

Credential and supervision

Paul holds a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) credential in Washington State, and practices under the supervision of Jonathan Douglas, MS, LMHC, NCC, Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor. As an associate, all of his clinical work is supervised, which means clients get the benefit of both his direct work and ongoing clinical oversight.

Where Paul Can See Clients

Paul is licensed in Washington State. He can only provide counseling services to clients who are physically located in Washington at the time of the session, regardless of where they normally live.

Fees

Cause & Effect Institute is private pay and does not currently accept insurance. Fee information is provided during your initial consultation. Because services are self-pay, you have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before your first appointment, just ask.
